The simple concept of J. Antoine is in the title of his new single release, You Don’t Work, U Don’t Shine featuring T Lae.  For as long as he has known, the music industry has been the center of his world.  Every aspect of music can be linked to his life in some way.  J. Antoine came into hip hop just when the genre was at its peak.  He was always in love with music and enjoys being a lyricist.  J. Antoine listens to all genres of music because he believes in listening to good music.  If the beat can be felt in his heart, he’s hooked.  His musical influences includes Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Common, T.I., and others.  He enjoys giving back to the community and working with kids.  J.
