Cary Washington was born and raised in South Carolina. He is no stranger to travel. Cary is on the way to becoming one of the greatest writers in his time. He can accomplish this by his various writing skills such as writing books, speeches, songs, and more. Cary has been writing since the age of 9 and has released his first book in 2010 entitled “Level of Conspiracy”. Carey’s second book is set for release this year along with his mixtape entitled “This is Why the South is on Top – Volume I”. The mixtape is his answer to the negative attitudes towards the South. Cary feels the best way to attack negativity is by being creative in your art. Cary stated during an interview with In the Know Promotions Magazine, “My words have always made sense.” His mission is to educate by entertainment. Cary is a music lover and influenced by a variety of different artists. His lyrics are about what he knows. He also feels Hip Hop has entered into another generation and has become stagnant. “Hip Hop is not about the jewelry and the number of houses and cars an artist has. Hip Hop is a community and the artists have to work hard to take the community back. At one time, Hip Hop used to be a way to make a living”, said Cary. Are those days seriously gone? Cary’s music style has changed since the age of 16 when he used to just rap to make sure it rhymed. Now Cary’s skills as a lyricist has evolved into wanting to know who he can change with the message in his music.
